Many western born musicians find themselves choosing one or more of the

following styles and many of us have an affinity but don’t necessarily practice the styles.

Country – Country Western (we just say Country 60 years ago it was Hill Billy Music), Country Rock

Pop – Rock and Roll, R & B, Soul, Punk

Jazz – Swing, bebop, dixieland, blues

Broadway – So many of the jazz standards came from Broadway and many became radio and song hits of the day.
